Performing Ensembles

Richmond Hill Marching Wildcat Band

Richmond Hill Marching Wildcat Band is the largest and most visible performing ensemble at Richmond Hill High School. The Marching Wildcats are comprised of approximately 200 performers: winds, colorguard, and percussion. The ensemble competes across the state of Georgia and southeast and consistently receives Grand Champion Titles at competitions in which they compete. The Marching Wildcats have also been a featured performing group at nationally recognized parades. The ensemble has performed at Universal Studios on multiple occasions and most recently performed in the 2016 Washington National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade.

Wind Ensemble

The Richmond Hill High School Wind Ensemble is the top concert ensemble at Richmond Hill High School. The group is made up of approximately 50 players: winds and percussion. The ensemble performs four times each year and consistently performs grade 6 repertoire. The Wind Ensemble has consistently received straight Superior ratings at LGPE and continues stand out as one of the most respected high school performing groups in the region.

Symphonic Band

The Richmond Hill High School Symphonic Band is the 2nd  concert ensemble at Richmond Hill High School. The group is made up of approximately 60 players: winds and percussion. The ensemble performs four times each year and consistently performs repertoire in grades 4, 5, and 6. The Symphonic Band has consistently received straight Superior ratings at LGPE. 

Concert Band

The Richmond Hill High School Concert Band is the 3rd  concert ensemble at Richmond Hill High School. The group is made up of approximately 60 players: winds and percussion. The ensemble performs four times each year and consistently performs repertoire in grades 2, 3, and 4. The Concert Band iis the newest and youngest ensemble at Richmond HIll High School. This ensemble was designed to build a strong foundation of skills before students move on to the upper two ensembles. In only its second year of existence, the Concert Band received straight Superior ratings at LGPE.

Jazz Band

The Richmond Hill High School Jazz Band is an audition only tradition Big Band that meets after school. The Jazz Band typically performs 2-3 times each year and has been a featured performing ensemble at various non-school related events.
