Marlon Harman - Color Guard Instructor
Marlon -

Marlon Harman has been the Color Guard Director for the Richmond Hill High School Wildcat marching band for 14 years. Marlon is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Communications, emphasis Theatre, with a minor in English. Marlon started his interest in marching band his freshman year at North Springs H. S. where he originally played the baritone. His junior and senior year, he became an alternate feature twirler for the high school. At Georgia Southern, Marlon marched with the “Southern Pride” marching band as a baritone his freshman year. In his sophomore year, he marched half of the show as a baritone player, and with a quick uniform change on the sidelines, marched the second half of the show as a feature twirler. Marlon joined the GSU color guard for his junior and senior years. He is also a former choreographer for the once Savannah Ballet School.

Sean Sullivan - Marching Tech

Sean Sullivan is from Berkeley Lake, GA in the suburbs of Atlanta. He graduated from Duluth High School where he was active in many extracurricular activities including the Marching & Symphonic Bands as well as the pit orchestra for music productions. During his high school career, he was an active member of Boy Scout Troop 248 in Norcross, GA where he earned the rank of Eagle. After graduating in 1998, he began studying Music Education at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. Here, Sean was a member of the Marching & Concert Bands. In the fall of 2000, Mr. Sullivan transferred to The University of Georgia where he was a Social Science Education major & Music minor. In 2003, he earned a B.S.Ed. During his three years at The University of Georgia, Sean was active in the Redcoat Marching Band & Concert Band. In 2005, Sean taught 6th grade Social Studies at Upson-Lee Middle School in Thomaston, GA. The following year, he took a teaching position at Richmond Hill High School in Richmond Hill, GA where he taught World Geography, World History, Music Appreciation, & Psychology. In 2011, Mr. Sullivan accepted a position with the RHHS Marching Band. In 2013, he began teaching AP Human Geography & Honors World History having completed the Gifted Endorsement Program for the state of Georgia.
Paul Vogel - Marching Tech

Paul Vogel grew up in Savannah, GA and has been serving as the Assistant Band Director at Richmond Hill Middle School since 2013. After graduating from the Savannah Arts Academy, Mr. Vogel attended Armstrong Atlantic State University where he earned his Bachelor of Music Education degree. Mr. Vogel earned his Master of Music degree in Wind Conducting from Georgia Southern University. His primary conducting teachers include: Mr. Mark Johnson and Dr. Robert Dunham. Through workshops and symposia, he has pursued additional conducting studies with H. Robert Reynolds, Allan McMurray, Dr. Jamie Nix, T. Andre Feagin, Dr. David Vandewalker, and Steve Giove. In addition to his duties at RHMS, Mr. Vogel also works with the Richmond Hill High School Marching Band. Currently, Mr. Vogel serves as the Principal Tubist and periodically as a guest conductor for the Savannah Winds.
